   Kirk Hall, Transition Administrator for Florida's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)
This session will cover best practices around early identification and school district referral of students needing Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services, how resources align to deliver a consistent message, and how effective collaboration will facilitate the process of obtaining VR support for students. Participants will receive information on VR time frames and agency requirements for the provision of informed choice. Special attention will be given to the connection between the Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) vocational goal and the provision of VR services.  Participants will leave with the tools needed to collaborate more effectively and will have a better appreciation of each partner’s role in supporting students transition into meaningful careers through PSE.
